Micet fermentation tank and bright tanks are built to the following specifications:

  • Interior & Exterior Shell food-grade 304/316 stainless steel construction
  • 25% oversized headspace for fermentation on top
  • 20% oversized headspace for bright tanks on top
  • Double-wall with dimpled cooling jacket on shell and cone
  • Dish bottom or 160-degree cone bottom for bright tank
  • 100% TIG Welding with pure argon gas shield
  • Interior Finish: Sanitary 2B finish, Pickled and Passivated
  • Interior fully polished to a consistent ≤0.4μm
  • Insulated with high density polyurethane foam
  • CIP arm with 360° coverage spraying ball
  • Rotating racking arm on cone with butterfly valve
  • PT100 temperature thermowell with sensor
  • Full sanitary tri-clamped sampling valve
  • Top pressure or side shadowless manhole
  • Pressure relief valve with pressure gauge
  • Heavy-duty legs with adjustable bolts
  • Separate blow-off pipe & CIP optional
  • Liquid level display on the side wall optional

Technical Advantages

  • The fermentation tank is equipped with lifting ears for convenience for hoisting equipment in place.
  • With a rotating racking arm for beer delivery, which is convenient and flexible to deliver beer.
  • All tanks are equipped with adjusting bolts to ensure the tanks are aligned and levelled.
  • Jacket testing 12 hours with air and water, jacket testing pressure is 5Bar, internal shell testing pressure is 4Bar, and 48hours of water testing before packing.
  • Polished/Brushed/Mirror finish/Pickling passivation is optional.
  • Shadowless manway or top manhole according to the customer’s fermentation process and brewing types.
  • For bigger headspace, the cover headspace volume is calculated separately and extra.
  • Specially designed dimpled cooling jackets outside to ensure heating and cooling efficiency.
  • 60-degree cone angle for convenience for yeast excretion.
  • Equipping with a special ladder for easy operation.
